Geography has never been Southwark Council's strong point. Today's Southwark News has a full-colour advert for Bermondsey Community Council ... illustrated with a picture of Winchester Palace in Clink Street, which is of course in Cathedrals Ward - firmly part of the Borough and Bankside community council area.

The previous version of Southwark Council's website used to feature a picture of the IMAX Cinema on the home page - which is of course in Lambeth.
