Looking for nautical types with a tale to tell

Nelson Square Gardens Community Association is holding a Nelson Day celebrating British life at Nelson Square Gardens on SaturdaY 10 September between 1pm and 3pm. Walking the plank; free rum punch at the Lord Nelson and learning how to tie yourself up in knots, will all be on the agenda. French food will have to battle it out with British grub and there will be a tug o war.

Anyone who wants to take part and especially anyone from a nautical background who can tell a tale or two will be warmly welcomed and can be an honorary judge for the Nelson quiz. Those interested should contact ljustice0773@supanet.com
